Want more Lost? Wait 'till February!

Damn.

Just watched the season finale of Lost and all I have to say is I love this show.

Well, I have more to say, but that’s just the initial reaction.

Three great lines (doing these from memory):

Charlie: “If that’s Ben, tell him I say hi!”

Rose: “If you say ‘live together, die alone,’ I’ll knock your teeth in.

Hurley: “Come in, Others!”

I never thought I’d say this, but I’m sad to see Charlie go. And I was really relieved with the reveal that Jin, Sayid and Bernard didn’t die.

Two things about the action on the beach:

-I’m a bit surprised that Jin wasn’t that good a shot. I would’ve thought he would be a crack shot judging from his days at CTU.

-Hurley running that one Other down with the van reminded me of Mr. T running down some fools in the A-Team van.

The story moved a bit slowly and we didn’t really get any answers to the big mysteries, but we’re left with an ending and a course of action that totally changes the direction of the show.

We know they make it off the island, contrary to the wishes of Ben and Locke.

We know that at least Jack and Kate live. But their lives aren’t so good.

We also know Naomi has nothing to do with Penny.

And we’ve seen Waaaaalt age about three years (even though, in Lost-time, he left the island last month).

Knowing all that, I have to say that Jack should have listened to Locke and or Ben.

I feel like I can’t complain about not getting any answers with this episode, because it was just so good in every other way.
